Emily Stenhouse-White was admitted to the bar in 2004 after completing her law degree and a Bachelor of Health Science at the University of Auckland.
Emily has been in practice as a barrister since 2010, after employment as a solicitor in firms in West and Central Auckland. Emily specialises in Family Law, in particular in care of children and domestic violence matters. She accepts appointments as Lawyer for Child and counsel to assist and is a Family Dispute Resolution accredited mediator. Emily regularly facilitates mediation meetings between parents and caregivers, so that they are able to resolve disputes about children without the need for judicial intervention. She is also willing to accept instructions where a party seeks to be funded through Legal Aid. |
